The Seminar will be held on Monday, October 30th at the Pridgeon Community Center, 351 Cooks Lane in Franklin. The cost for the program, meal, handouts, etc. will be $50.00. Registration will begin at 7:00am with the program to begin at 7:30am and conclude at 3:00pm. Seven CEU’s will be offered with the first five hours covering all requirements for Commercial License Holders. The hours include – 4 General, 1 Laws & Regulations, 1 IPM and 1 Drift.
Speakers and topics will include: “Updates on TDA Pesticide Laws & Regulations” –Mr. Richard Parrish; “Brush and Weed Control” –Mr. James Jackson; “Controlling Pesticide Drift” –Mr. David Groschke; “Forage Insects, fire ants, and mosquitos” –Dr. Sonja Swiger; “Range & Pasture Weed ID and Control” –Dr. Barron Rector; “Calendar of Activities for control of Beef Cattle External Parasites” –Mr. Edward Schneider.
