Franklin is the county seat of Robertson County, Texas. In 1879, Robertson County voters transferred the county seat from Calvert to Franklin. Franklin is centrally located among the Dallas, Houston and Austin metrolplexes. Robertson County offers beautiful wild flowers, clear blue lakes and rolling green pastures.
